1. The spring edition of Reef Line, the official Reef Relief newsletter, is now available online.

2. Local Keys residents are invited to join us for the next Reef Relief Grassroots Workshop on Tuesday, March 28, 2002 from 5pm until 6:30. The subject will be what businesses can do to reduce stormwater runoff. Our special speaker will be Ty Simroski, City Planner for Key West. There will also be a social with food and refreshments and a strategy session on our stormwater awareness campaign.

3. The United Nations Environment Program, in cooperation with the International Coral Reef Initiative, is incorporating an admonition against fish feeding in its educational tips for divers and snorkelers. This is heartening, and supports the recent passage of a fish feeding ban for Florida waters. The ban is still subject to a legal challenge in the state, however if we all work together to make divers aware of the need to keep ocean life wild, our efforts will be successful.
