It’s been a great 4 weeks at Reef Relief with Coral Camp. At the end of each week, we are told by kids and parents how much they appreciate what we do for the kids and the environment. I have loved every second of Key West so far and can’t wait for the rest of the Summer. Getting to know the kids each week, getting some of them past their fear of the ocean, and finding out they have actually learned through out the week, gives me the satisfaction of knowing I am helping make a small difference in today’s society. I feel that we learn as much as the kids each week. I love being able to help promote coral reef conservation, especially since the Florida Reef is the only living one in the U.S. I plan to spend the rest of my career in management and conservation of this reef, and couldn’t ask for a better way to spend my Summer.
