STATE LANDS — PENSACOLA

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection begins a series of meetings across the state on Monday to receive public comment on its list of possible state lands that could be sold. An initial list in August of 5,331 acres had been trimmed to 3,463 acres on Sept. 25, 2013. A meeting in Pensacola will be held Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ernie Lee Magaha Building, 221 Palafox Place. More information about the meetings can be found here. STATE LANDS — FORT MYERS

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection continues a series of meetings across the state to receive public comment on its list of possible state lands that could be sold. An initial list in August of 5,331 acres had been trimmed to 3,463 acres on Sept. 25, 2013. A meeting will be held Oct. 3 in Fort Myers from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Joseph P.
