Went better than expected, we had 23 wonderful campers come today! We started off with ice breakers and a marine quiz to see how much the kids know before we start filling their minds with knowledge.
We walked to the Aquarium and saw lots of marine creatures and were able to pet a few in the touch tank and a baby shark. We were lucky enough to feed the sting rays and the nurse sharks as well. The kids were great and were highly entertained by all of the animals, as well as the GOLIATH GROUPER.
We walked back to the center for lunch and started on our lessons such as the basics of coral polyps and what it takes to identify living organisms
We learned new vocabulary from each lesson and had so much fun!
