Coral Camp Education Intern (Summer 2018)
June- Mid August
Applications for summer 2018 are closed. Summer 2019 applications will be accepted beginning Nov. 2019
Interns selected will present classroom lessons on marine science and provide program support for the summer Coral Camp for Kids Program for kids 6-12 years of age. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in marine education and conservation.
You will become familiar with the following areas:
· Marine and Environmental education for children
· Operation of Reef Relief’s environmental center
· Fieldwork for the Key West Marine Park
· Marketing, fundraising, planning and organizing special events
Qualifications
Applicants must have a degree in marine science and/or education, or the applicant must be actively seeking one.

Stormwater Education Intern (Spring and Fall semester internships)
Accepting for fall 2018 and spring 2019.
January-April or September-December (exact start and end dates are flexible)
Interns selected will help to organize and staff community volunteer opportunities related to Reef Relief’s Stormwater Education Program.
The Stormwater Education Program internship duties includes four main components:
-Recruiting and organizing volunteers
-Distributing stormwater education door hangers to Key West residents
-Stenciling awareness messages around local storm drains
-Organizing and leading marine debris removal projects (both land and water based)
You will also be familiar with the following areas:
-Fieldwork for the Key West Marine Park
-Operation of Reef Relief’s environmental center
Qualifications
Successful applicants will have a strong background in marine/environmental science and conservation.

Education Intern (Spring and Fall semester internships)

This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in marine education and conservation as well as marketing and event planning.
You will become familiar with the following areas:
• Environmental education for children and adults
• Operation of Reef Relief’s environmental center
• Field work in marine conservation
• Planning, organizing special events, marketing, fundraising
Qualifications
Applicants must have a degree in marine science or education or be actively seeking one. SCUBA certification is preferred.

Reef Relief is a non-profit organization so all internships are unpaid, and housing is not provided. Housing or a small stipend may be available depending on funding.
